The People We Know

It's easy for people to judge. It's easy for people to be decisive towards those who just really piss us off. It's also incredibly simple and basic to look at someone at write them off because of one or two factors, like they way they look or the way they sound, but what really, really gets to me is how people can be so decisive when it comes to someone being happy. What really, really grinds my gears about it all is when someone says that they are your friend, and then spend the next so long talking behind your back about you and those that make you happy.

I'm as guilty as anyone for it, sometimes I judge too quickly before I've gotten to know someone, but there's never an excuse for it. Quite honestly, there's a difference between being two faced to someone and telling someone straight off how you feel about them. It doesn't matter how long you talk to your "friends" about someone, what should matter is that you don't go behind someone's back to slag them off. Quite frankly, if you have a problem with someone, tell them straight away, don't sugar coat all of the bullshit and roll it in glitter, tell them straight away. At least then they won't want to smack you in the mouth.

I know it's been a long time since I've done a post like this where I get a lot of shit off of my chest, and quite honestly it's a post that's been long in coming. Quite frankly what get's to me is how people so blatantly disregard the feelings of you and those around you to get their little kicks. All I can say to these people is grow the fuck up, because quite honestly, it's going to come back and bite you incredibly hard. And I hope it does, because then you might just learn your damn lesson and might make you act your age.
