Time To Spend

It's now almost quarter to 4, it's sunny out, and I'm blogging. I can't be bothered to go out. I'd rather sit here listening to metal, once in a while scratching and going downstairs to refill on coffee. It may not seem like much, but this is the norm. It may seem boring, but I'm set in my ways.

Taking only a few minutes to browse Facebook once in a while, and looking through albums and DVDs to review. I may review Paul (for those who haven't seen it, and a few other things to follow up) at a later date, as music reviews are at the top of my list at the moment. Anyway, I'm digressing, because this post was meant to be about spending time.

It's a pity you can't pay for things with time (unless you've stolen a can of coke from Sainsbury's and now serving 25 to 30 years in Broadmoor) because things would be a hell of a lot cheaper. Imagine a world, if you will, where you can walk into a supermarket, buy you're weeks shopping, and pay for it in minutes, or hours. Think of how much simpler things would be. It would relieve boredom, that's for sure. You could walk up to the cashier, and say "yes, I'd like to pay for this soup and bottle of Pepsi please", for him to tell you that's 15 minutes and 12 seconds. Again, I'm digressing.

I want to spend my time with the people who are close to me, not at home scratching, drinking coffee and listening to Marilyn Manson on repeat. It's these things that make my day a lot longer.

I'd like to know how you spend your time. Leave a comment on this post. In the meantime, here is some more Elton John to kill some time.
