An Idiot Abroad, An Idiot In My Living Room

Every Thursday, the Xbox goes off, the computer gets muted and the phone gets switched off. Why this is you may be asking. One simple answer. Karl Pilkington. In An Idiot Abroad. It is possibly one of the funniest shows I have ever seen. It is a classic show in every sense of the word.

For those who do not know him, let me explain him in the words of Ricky Gervais. He is an empty, round-headed moron who doesn't like to be out of his comfort zone. Ricky sends him around the world to see the 7 Wonders, and along the way, exposing Karl to the culture of the relevant country. So far, he has been to Jordan, Egypt, China, India, Brazil, Mexico, and this week, Machu Picchu. He doesn't like to be out of his comfort zone, and is one of the best people I have ever seen on television.

Unfortunately, I'm not too sure if it ends this week or next week, but I have thoroughly enjoyed every episode, and I hope that I see more of him during the new year. Please Sky One, unleash him into our homes for more entertainment, please!
